Golden State Warriors must finish Dallas

First thing’s first, take care of business against Dallas.

There is no sense in pretending this series is over. Albeit, the Golden State Warriors are one blow away from sending the Mavericks to Cancun for the summer. Anything is possible and a 3-0 lead does not mean the Dubs should take their eye off the ball now.

With this being said, Golden State is without a doubt in the driver’s seat.

Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney are major reasons for this. The defense played on Luka Doncic would not be possible without a hyper-aggressive Wiggins embracing the challenge. He hasn’t stopped Luka from getting his numbers but Wiggins has blunted the impact of Doncic’s attacks.

Meanwhile, Looney has continued to haul in key rebounds and act as an enforcer, setting screens and making the extra pass to keep things moving smoothly.

Game 4 in Dallas will not be handed to the Warriors. But, delivering the fatal strike and relaxing until June 2 is the first hurdle for Golden State to leap.
