Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA Draft: 3 Mock selections

Bleacher Report Mock Draft – Golden State Warriors select Andrew Nembhard
Bleacher Report strays from the pack by having the Golden State Warriors select guard Andrew Nembhard in their mock draft.
The reasoning for this is Nembhard’s experience. He’s a 22-year-old floor general who seems more polished than the other prospects in this draft. It seems one of these players goes unnoticed each year and BR believes Nembhard will be the next hidden gem taken by the Warriors.
The potential is certainly there. Nembhard averaged 11.8 points and 5.8 assists with Gonzaga, leading one of the best teams in the NCAA. He has four years of collegiate experience and an all-around skill set that can help him become an instant-impact player.
You might be thinking, aren’t the Warriors a bit loaded in the backcourt? And you’d be right. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, Gary Payton II and Moses Moody make for a tough rotation to crack for Nembhard.
Nonetheless, Nembhard could be useful in an 82-game season where injuries often thin out the rotation. And, with the Splash Brothers aging, Nembhard could create an elite backcourt trio of the future with Poole and Moody.
