Dub nation, for the sixth time in eight seasons, the Golden State Warriors are back in the NBA Finals.

In what was a complete team win the Warriors took down the Dallas Mavericks 120-110 to win the series 4-1. All the starters scored double-digit points with Klay Thompson leading the way with an incredible 32 points on eight made three-pointers.

The Golden State Warriors put together a complete team effort in their ten-point home, series-clinching win. The dynasty is back.

After a disappointing game four, the Warriors bounced back in a big way at home where they are currently 9-0 during this postseason run. The defense held Mavs star Luka Doncic to 28 points on 10-for-28 shooting.

Andrew Wiggins was his primary defender, and he made Doncic work all night and forced many tough shots.

The offense was spectacular in this close-out game.

They shot 51.1% from the field and made 14 three-pointers. Everyone was touching the ball on the offensive end as they recorded 36 assists, with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green leading the way with nine assists each.

Once again the Dubs were dominant on the glass grabbing 51 rebounds to Dallas’ 34. Kevon Looney pulled in 18 rebounds including seven offensive and Wiggins had 10 rebounds.

For a team that was seen as undersized, you can not say enough about how well they have rebounded the ball this postseason. They will need to continue that production on the glass to have success in the NBA Finals.

Curry brought home the first-ever Western Conference Finals MVP trophy. He averaged 23.8 points, 7.4 assists, and 6.6 rebounds in the series.

While he only scored 15 points in game five he still contributes in so many ways even when he is not scoring. His +11 for the game was tied for second behind Thompson. With his +45 for the series being the true difference-maker.

Now that the Warriors have made it back to the NBA Finals they will have home-court advantage against either Boston or Miami. Both teams would give the Warriors a tough defensive matchup, so their high-powered offense will be tested.

The Warriors now have a week of rest to prepare for the Finals beginning June 2nd. The dynasty had a small hiccup these past two years, but they certainly are not done yet.
