Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals was a battle and it’s only going to get more chippy as the series wages on. The Golden State Warriors lost a shootout with the Celtics, falling down 0-1.

The Dubs have climbed out of the lottery to reach this stage and they sure aren’t going to stop now. With a long series still ahead of them, it’s never too early to start predicting who will win the Finals MVP award.

A number of Golden State Warriors could bring home their first NBA Finals MVP award this year, here are the three most likely candidates.

The Finals MVP is arguably the most difficult award to win in the NBA. Recent winners include Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant.

Pretty good company, right?
