
It’s been a chaotic ride for the Golden State Warriors, but it’s been one with far less stress than their current opponent, the Boston Celtics. The Celtics went through two Game 7s, one of which was on the road, on their route to the NBA Finals.
While the Warriors have yet to play a Game 7 and have only played one Game 6 in the 2022 NBA playoffs, they haven’t been quite as dominant in these playoffs, more specifically in the NBA Finals.
The Golden State Warriors are knotted up at one game apiece in the NBA, but these three players haven’t done much to get them there.
After taking a 12-point lead into the fourth quarter of Game 1, the Warriors had a -24 point differential in the final period and lost the game. They thankfully bounced back in Game 2 and will play Game 3 on Wednesday night.
In Golden State’s run, having completed three series, a few performances have stuck out, most namely what Stephen Curry has been able to do these first two Finals games and what Klay Thompson has done to cap off their last two series.
Many rotational players haven’t necessarily been given a chance or have not thrived in their opportunities these playoffs.
