It wasn’t pretty but they got the job done. The Golden State Warriors avoided a 3-1 deficit and have pushed the 2022 NBA Finals to a pivotal Game 5 with the series knotted at two a piece.

A lot happened in Game 4. A frenzied Boston crowd nearly helped the Celtics carry early momentum all the way through to the finish line. However, consistent effort and timely rallies helped the Warriors overcome all of the Celtics’ blows.

Boston was led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who combined for 44 points and 17 rebounds but it wasn’t enough to keep the Dubs from pulling out the win.

The Golden State Warriors managed to grind out a crucial Game 4 victory. Here are the best and worst takeaways from their win.
