Best of Golden State Warriors

In a game where the Warriors felt out of their depth for most of the duration, it was these two players who provided just enough of a lift to keep them alive in the series.

Andrew Wiggins

When the Dubs first traded for Wiggins, it seemed like a longshot to think he would ever be this impactful. But, Game 4 of the NBA Finals was the best game of his career.

Wiggins snatched 16 boards to go along with 17 points. Not his most high-scoring game but each putback and second-chance opportunity were crucial in keeping the Warriors in the game.

Furthermore, it was Wiggins who took the challenge of defending a rolling Brown and Tatum duo. The two had their fair share of glorious moments throughout the game but there is a reason neither finished with more than 23 points — Wiggins never gave up on making life difficult for the two.

Wiggins did not even shoot that well from the floor himself, going just 7-of-17. However, Wiggins was a plus-20 in 43 minutes of play in a game the Warriors only won by 10 points. His impact was not hard to see.

Stephen Curry

Someone else had the best game of their career in Game 4 and that somebody happened to be the greatest shooter in the history of the game.

Stephen Curry was breathtaking in this game. Doing a little bit of everything and knocking down the type of shots that only he can do consistently, it was a masterclass from Steph on Friday night.

Curry finished with 43 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 14-of-26 from the floor and single-handedly carrying his team through cold spells offensively.

In the series, Curry is shooting a blistering 49% from the 3-point line on over 12 attempts per game. There is no doubt about who has been the best player on the floor.
