Worst of Golden State Warriors

Our worst of the Warriors’ list is fairly short tonight. While Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson had some rough moments, they played just well enough to avoid being an overall negative on the night.

This can’t be said for Draymond.

Draymond Green

It would be unfair for me to call it anything other than the truth — this has been the worst playoff series of Green’s career.

It’s almost unfathomable for Green to be a non-factor or even a negative factor for the Warriors after the reputation he has built. Yet, he’s been detrimental on offense and his efforts on defense have not translated to as many stops and turnovers as they usually do.

Green has scored 17 points and committed 18 fouls in this series. He’s 0-for-9 from deep and 6-of-26 from the field.

We all know Draymond is not a scorer but his inability to be any sort of threat has been a thorn in the Warriors’ side during this series against a razor-sharp defensive team like the Celtics.

Something needs to give and I’d imagine the nonstop ridicule that Green has been subjected to will provide enough motivation for him to snap out of it and be the heart of the Warriors once again.
