James Wiseman shows out

The No. 2 overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft still has much to prove at the NBA level.

Really, James Wiseman has everything to prove.

Wiseman has played fewer than half a full season at this point and has been sidelined since April 2021. His first chance to compete against professional talent comes this summer in the Las Vegas Summer League.

Usually, the Summer League is a non-factor. It’s not an important event for anyone other than prospects on the fringe of making an NBA roster.

For Wiseman, though, it’s a chance to develop his game at a slower pace and truly get his feet wet for the first time in over a year. The Dubs are hoping to see Wiseman dominate and it would bode well for his confidence, too.
