Potential Golden State Warriors free agent signee: Mo Bamba

Mo Bamba doesn’t flow with the veteran trend I’ve laid out, and this one mainly is because of how his development has been handled by Orlando.

Bamba was behind Nikola Vucevic for a few seasons in Orlando, and as a full-time starter this past season, he hit several career-highs. His 10.6 points per game were the most of his career, playing and starting in 71 and 69 games respectively.

However, the Magic are expected to draft Chet Holmgren with the top-overall pick which could make Bamba far less of a priority. Bamba did drill 1.5 triples per game at a 38% clip which is going to make him a target for many.

Bamba would likely be out of the Warriors’ price range, but given how he’s yet to really explode onto the scene, it could make sense for the Dubs to gauge the interest of the 24-year-old former top-ten pick.
