Zach LaVine can add shot creation to desperate teams

The last player on our list is a world-class shot-creator whose athleticism and shooting have yet to be used by a team with actual hopes in the playoffs.

Zach LaVine has always seemed at least somewhat reluctant to stay in Chicago long-term. This summer, he has an opportunity to join a new team — either through unrestricted free agency or a sign-and-trade.

The Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers are all teams that could make a play for LaVine via trade or free agency.

Whatever he chooses, LaVine can shake the balance of the NBA by leaving Chicago for a title contender. He averaged 24.4 points last season and is a versatile enough scorer to play alongside just about anyone.
