4. Markieff Morris

A member of the 2020 Los Angeles Lakers championship squad, Markieff Morris can bring defense and floor spacing to the Golden State Warriors’ frontcourt.

Pros

Look at Morris as a replacement for Nemanja Bejlica. Though not as great of a shooter, Morris is a more capable defender and has shown he can hit shots in the playoffs.

Morris shoots 34.1% from deep for his career and had a dip to 31.5% over the last two seasons. Prior to that, however, he shot 36.3% over a four-year stretch.

He’s a good rebounder for his position and can switch onto the perimeter much easier than Bjelica.

Cons

As stated, Morris has been in a slump from the 3-point line. There is no telling if he will snap out of it and his defensive prowess is sure to decline as he grows older (he will be 33 next season).
