2. Patty Mills

Every championship-contending team can use a guy like Patty Mills, right?

Pros

Mills is as experienced as they come. With 10+ years of NBA experience and a championship under his belt to go along with plenty of time leading Team Australia in the Olympics — Mills is no stranger to winning basketball.

A floor general who can shoot from deep and create for others, there is an easy avenue for Mills to fill in as a backup guard and run side-by-side with Jordan Poole as the primary ball-handler for the Warriors’ second unit.

Cons

He’s a bit short at 6’1″ and has never been a great defender. Mills is also getting older at 33 years of age. Above all else, he’d be taking the ball out of Poole’s hands, for better or worse.

Still, Mills is a steady presence who has no problem distributing the ball. He’d offer a sense of stability for a team that is full of developing guards such as Poole and Moses Moody. Mills would be a welcomed addition.
