Rajon Rondo

Nearing the end of his career, could Rajon Rondo make one last effort to win a championship by joining the Golden State Warriors?

Pros

You will not find a more experienced guard than Rajon Rondo. He’s won two championships with separate historic teams and has played for 10 different squads overall.

A player with an incredible IQ and some impressive physical traits, Rondo has everything needed to replace Gary Payton — besides the athleticism.

At his best, Rondo could be a backup floor general who dictates the offense and provides defense.

Cons

At his worst? Rondo would not even see the floor.

An aging veteran with health concerns and off-court issues, there are plenty of reasons to avoid signing Rondo.

He can’t shoot and his defense has withered with age and inconsistent effort.

Though, Rondo remains an interesting candidate.
