Warriors’ James Wiseman to San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs traded away Dejounte Murray presumably for a shot at potential superstar Victor Wembanyama in the 2023 NBA Draft as they’re clearly preparing for the future.

The Spurs could combine that plan for the future with adding James Wiseman as well. While Wembanyama could play the five with his length, his strength may lack, and then the combination of Wiseman and Wembanyama could deliver a lethal blow to teams defensively.

For the Cavs, they do this trade because Wiggins gives them a better chance to win now and adds a level on both ends of the court. With Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen leading the team, Wiggins proved he could be the second-best player on a championship-caliber team.

As for Golden State, getting younger at the three with a player that resembles Harrison Barnes with a much-higher ceiling would help mold the team’s future. Johnson averaged 17 points per game last season and shot 40% from deep.

Adding Poeltl to this deal would bring that bench depth in the frontcourt that Golden State will need since losing Porter Jr. and Bjelica.
