Warriors’ James Wiseman to Toronto Raptors

The main key to thriving in the future for Golden State should be adding a big-name talent at the three, assuming Kuminga plays the four.

Anunoby fits that mold and makes perfect sense as his potential is clear. Anunoby, Poole and Kuminga would be the main core as Golden State may find it tough to retain all the young prospects over the next few seasons.

The 24-year-old forward is only set to make $17 million next season. This could also be a trade that helps allure the Nets into trading Durant to the Raptors, loading Toronto with future assets to make that a true possibility.

For Golden State, Anunoby would be the long-term replacement for Wiggins, assuming the two parties do not meet in the middle on a contract after next season. They could also play the two together and still have ample size with Draymond Green at the five.

It’s risky for Toronto, but it makes sense if they feel Moody and Wiseman better allow them a shot at Durant. Anunoby has improved his scoring in each of his five seasons in the league, topping out at 17.1 per game last season.

The Warriors’ view of his potential and the Raptors’ view of what Wiseman and Moody could mean for future trades is what would make this ideal for both organizations.
