Draymond Green

Considering there are other factors restricting the Golden State Warriors from trading Andrew Wiggins to Brooklyn (unless Ben Simmons is off the roster), it only makes sense that Draymond Green would be the one to make this deal work financially.

The Warriors would have to give up a player making big bucks if they want to add Kevin Durant to the roster. They aren’t going to trade Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson — and they can’t really trade Wiggins.

This leaves Green as the final option.

While Green is often seen as the heart and soul of Warriors basketball, Dubs fans can’t deny his productivity declined last season. Specifically, in the NBA Finals, where his brief moments of defensive brilliance were few and far between compared to previous seasons.

If it were up to me, I’d still keep the core together and cling tightly to Draymond as he is the key to setting the Splash Brothers up for easy opportunities. But if getting Durant is the goal, Green would be on the go.
