Jordan Poole

In order to avoid losing Jonathan Kuminga, Jordan Poole would likely need to be added as the cherry on top for Brooklyn.

Losing Poole would be a devastating blow. Leaving the Dubs with no clear-cut sixth man to run the second unit is something that could doom them in the future.

That is unless Moses Moody is protected in the deal and remains a core piece of the franchise. Assuming Moody can develop into a sturdy floor general, trading Poole is not as much of a risk.

Nevertheless, replacing Poole will not be easy even if Kevin Durant is back in a Warriors uniform. It has been proven time and time again that star power will only get you so far in the NBA if the rest of your team is gutted.

In conclusion, while Green, Wiseman and Poole are all prime candidates to be in a deal for Kevin Durant — the Dubs should simply run it back with the team that just won a championship.
