It’s been quite the offseason so far for the Golden State Warriors. Most fans may be quite upset at what the Dubs have done through the first few weeks.

After all, they did allow fan-favorite Gary Payton II to take his talent to Portland. It was challenging to see Payton II go, but after seeing his 3-year deal, it’s not shocking that Golden State passed on matching it.

The Golden State Warriors have lost a few key pieces in free agency, and in order to keep their rotation in check, they need to target these positions.

It wasn’t just Payton II though. Otto Porter Jr. will also be elsewhere next season, taking his talents to Toronto.

Both Payton II and Porter Jr. played pivotal roles for the Warriors this past season, so they’ll want to replace their skill sets. They’ve done just that with the addition of former Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo.

Getting similar production from a player like Porter Jr. should be atop the Dubs bucket list. With open spots still on the roster, Bob Myers and company should still be searching for how to improve.

That said, let’s dive into the skill sets the Warriors should be seeking.
