Golden State Warriors need youth development
All of the Golden State Warriors’ needs could be solved through a little bit of youth development.
In theory, the Dubs already have everything they could ever need.
Moses Moody is a prototypical 3-and-D guard who is lighting it up in the G-League and could serve as a more consistent, reliable floor general with the second unit.
James Wiseman is the shot-blocking, floor-spacing big man the Dubs have been desperate for since 2015.
Patrick Baldwin Jr. is a multi-faceted 6’9″ combo guard who can develop into an ideal role player who can play in any lineup.
Lastly, Jonathan Kuminga is jam-packed with star potential. At his peak, Kuminga has the tools to be an elite two-way player and serve as the leader of the young core.
How much can they improve in one summer? Probably not too much. But, any leaps in development would be more than welcome.
