Golden State Warriors: 3 Biggest offseason needs they still have
By Tony Pesta
Golden State Warriors need a floor spacer (frontcourt)
Anyone who watched the Golden State Warriors during their title run could tell you how important it was to have Otto Porter and Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica play minutes throughout the year.
The value of having somebody, anybody who can play in the frontcourt and space the floor a bit was part of the reason Porter became such an unsung hero last season.
With Porter and Bjelica gone, the Warriors have a massive void in their lineup.
Draymond Green and Kevon Looney are non-factors from the 3-point line. James Wiseman has potential but is far from being a proven shooter. The same goes for Jonathan Kuminga.
Andrew Wiggins is the best shooter of the bunch but he can only play so many minutes in a small-ball lineup.
Who can they target here? Aron Baynes, LaMarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony, Serge Ibaka and Markieff Morris all make sense.
