Golden State Warriors can target Markieff Morris

A solid mixture of grit and 3-point shooting, Markieff Moriss makes all the sense in the world for the Golden State Warriors.

Morris was unable to play in the 2022 NBA Playoffs as his Miami Heat fell one Jimmy Butler shot short of reaching the NBA Finals.

Prior to this season, Morris was most recently a contributor to the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2020 NBA championship. He shot 42% from the 3-point line during his time in the bubble.

On top of being a consistent shooter, Morris is one of the NBA’s tough guys. He’s an enforcer who can defend multiple positions. Most of all, he isn’t afraid to get physical.

This makes Morris an ideal replacement for Otto Porter, who possessed similar physical traits but lacked the fiery aggression of Morris. It’s still probably a downgrade but one the Dubs will not be too upset about.
