Andre Iguodala can return for one more dance

The Golden State Warriors have already promised Andre Iguodala the spot is there for him, should he choose to play another season in the NBA.

While indicators point toward Iggy returning for another dance, the Warriors should secretly be hoping he opts for a coaching job, instead.

Iguodala is arguably one of the most important players in franchise history. His steady, veteran presence led to a championship in 2015 and he’s been a key component to two other titles (not including 2022).

Last season, though, father time finally caught up to Iguodala. He was injured for most of the year and even when he was healthy, Iguodala mostly served as a high-IQ player who only remained on the floor due to his preexisting chemistry with the big three.

Now, is something like this incredibly valuable to a team looking to win back-to-back titles? Definitely.

Even so, this final roster spot is an opportunity for the Dubs to add an actual depth piece who can play minutes throughout the season.
