John Collins

Last on our list and the most difficult name to obtain, John Collins is already doing most of what the Golden State Warriors are hoping James Wiseman eventually does.

Collins is an athletic, rim runner big-man who can stretch the floor and defend every position. He’s been less-than-motivated to be a versatile, lockdown defender in Atlanta but a change of scenery can make all the difference.

The Atlanta Hawks have flirted with the idea of trading Collins for years now. If a scenario emerges where Clint Capela is injured and the Hawks need a true seven-footer to take his place — could they be enticed to trade Collins for Wiseman?

Collins averaged 16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks last season while shooting 36.4% from the 3-point line. He comes with a lower ceiling than Wiseman but could help more in the present.
