Golden State Warriors player that could be traded: Andrew Wiggins

The Warriors won’t be able to keep Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, unless some drastic changes happen.

With that in mind and the undeniable fact that they’d want to maintain their Big 3, Golden State may go ahead and look to deal the first-time All-Star forward. Wiggins played a key role in their success last season.

He averaged17.2 points per game which were the least since his rookie season. Wiggins did shoot a career-high 39.3% from deep. His efficiency was there, and when needed, his rebounding played a large part in the team’s postseason success.

Wiggins is set to make $33.6 million, and he may get a large extension as well. If he’s not offered one and the Dubs have no interest in giving him in the ballpark of what others could, it makes sense to get something for him first.

The Warriors are expecting players like Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman to step up, one of which could help the small forward void and the other of which could provide rebounding. If that’s the case and the situation is right for it, Wiggins could certainly be dealt this upcoming season.
