Golden State Warriors player that could be traded: Moses Moody

In many trade scenarios hovering around, Moody is a name typically brought up. He showed enough potential to garner interest from other teams last season but not quite enough to be considering a budding star.

Kuminga is the same I’d be shocked to see the Warriors deal. Moody seems likely to be involved in any trade that requires Wiggins as well.

His salary certainly helps as the former lottery is set to make just $3.7 million and then has two team option. Most recently, Moody dominated the 2K23 Las Vegas Summer League, playing in two games and averaging 27.5 points per game, the most in the league.

Moody played in spurts prior to Klay Thompson’s return, averaging 4.4 points per game. He played in 52 games and started 11, averaging 11.7 minutes per game. He’s a competent three-point shooter and an above-average defender.

Moody should draw interest as a primer for any trade, and he’s the one player I expect Golden State to be a bit looser about letting go.
