3. DeMarcus Cousins

Can the Golden State Warriors run it back with DeMarcus Cousins?

His first stint wasn’t all that, marred by injury and the Kevin Durant free agency saga. This time around, Cousins’ time in the Bay could be successful.

Boogie’s status as a veteran big makes him useful. He is also a bulky, muscular 6’10” enforcer who can set brutal screens and bang in the post.

Last season, Cousins averaged 8.9 points and 5.5 rebounds for the Denver Nuggets.

He shot just 32% from deep and was out of place defensively.

Nonetheless, Cousins’ size is something the Dubs could use. They do not have much depth at the center position and simply having a guy like Cousins who can play minutes and occasionally make a big impact with his scoring is worth considering.
