2. Blake Griffin

A better, more agile option than DeMarcus Cousins, Blake Griffin has lost most of his superstar athleticism but still has the traits of a winning basketball player.

Griffin doesn’t get enough credit for evolving his game. Once a pure dunker who could only score in the paint, Griffin has expanded his range to behind the 3-point line and grown as a ball-handler and playmaker.

Last season was rough for Griffin but we will give him a pass for the turmoil that plagued Brooklyn for most of the year, anyways.

In 2020-21, Griffin averaged 10.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists on 38.3% 3-point shooting for the Nets.

He doesn’t have the same size as Cousins but he’s a more capable defender and his shades of playmaking would be highly entertaining with the Warriors.
