3. Andrew Wiggins can do more with less

The Golden State Warriors already have the top of the food chain established.

Stephen Curry is going to lead the team in scoring. Klay Thompson is going to play the sidekick role perfectly and Draymond Green is going to make sure everyone gets involved.

For this reason, Andrew WIggins’ consistency gives him a significant edge over Jordan Poole.

Wiggins shot 46.6% from the field and 39.3% from the 3-point line last season. While Wiggins isn’t as prolific as Poole, his catch-and-shoot efficiency has always been better and he’s a bigger threat to cut to the hoop.

When playing third-fiddle, the ability to spot up and knock down the easy shots is crucial. This is where Wiggins thrived last season and it’s something he can continue to excel at for years to come.

As for Poole, creating off the dribble has always been his forte. Poole has grown substantially as an off-ball threat but Wiggins remains a better fit next to Curry, Green and Thompson as a player who doesn’t need the ball in his hands as often.
