Team to eye for Warriors trade: Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are going to be interesting to watch this coming season. They have several players that will headline their youth movement. Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin are the two names to keep an eye on.

However, once this team starts to struggle, there are a ton of names that could find themselves playing elsewhere.

T.J. McConnell is the main player to watch potentially be on the move. He’s been a terrific two-way guard during his time in the NBA, and given how the Warriors value defensive-minded backcourt players, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them target the 30-year-old.

Myles Turner and Daniel Theis are two other names that could be linked to an Andrew Wiggins trade as well. The Pacers have a solid young core, but the three veterans should be on the block once reality sets in.

McConnell makes the most sense and would be a great addition, covering the weaknesses of star guard Jordan Poole. McConnell has averaged 1.5 or more steals per 36 minutes in each of his 7 seasons in the NBA.
