Ben Simmons: A-

I wrote more about why Ben Simmons is the ideal trade target for the Golden State Warriors here.

But for a quick summary, Simmons is the only target who fills in the void left behind when trading Andrew Wiggins or Draymond Green.

In the event Golden State is left with no choice but to lose one of those talents, Simmons is the guy who can replace them. He has a similar build, skill set and is young enough to hopefully improve with the Dubs’ developmental team.

Simmons is a point forward with elite defense. His shooting has always been a concern but his ability to get to the rim should allow Simmons to thrive with the Warriors.

His playmaking and defensive versatility are everything the Warriors need from a Wiggins or Draymond replacement. With even a little bit of offensive development, this would be an absolute grand slam for Golden State.

Next. 3 Teams that can steal Andrew Wiggins. dark
