It’s been a hectic yet relatively positive offseason for the Golden State Warriors.
The Dubs are coming off their 4th NBA Championship in 8 seasons, and their dynasty is officially back. While forward Kevin Durant leaving Golden State did bring some parity to the league, the Warriors were still among the most talented sides.
The Golden State Warriors are among title favorites right now, but tides may turn if there are top players that change teams before the season commences.
Coming into this upcoming season, the Celtics are going to be among the top contenders as well as the healthy Milwaukee Bucks. Golden State and Phoenix should be the top threats in the Western Conference.
The Dubs arguably got worse with the addition of JaMychal Green and Donte DiVincenzo to replace Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II, two players that were in the rotation for Golden State in their six NBA Finals games.
James Wiseman’s return and his impact could sway the oddsmakers to favor the Warriors more, but his role in the rotation isn’t fully known. The Warriors may be among the favorites now, but it may not stay that way as superstars may form in other organizations.
