Pros

Keeping the team that just won a championship together would be the most logical decision, no?

Chemistry with Splash Brothers

Draymond Green has something no other point forward on the planet has — that’s nearly a decade of experience next to the Splash Brothers.

I’m not sure any player in the league could form more on-court chemistry than Green has with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. His movement is fluid and natural, constantly finding the Splash Bros for easy opportunities.

It’s one of the things that make this trio so hard to beat. They operate on instinct and Green has mastered this three-man dance better than anyone else.

Elite defender

Prior to his injury mid-way through last season, Draymond Green was leading the Defensive Player of the Year race.

Not only that, but the Warriors were looking like a historic defense.

Returning to the wheel, Green will be able to get the Dubs back on track to become an all-time great defense next year. While his athleticism has declined, his experience and high IQ will allow him to be a leader the Warriors can’t afford to let loose.
