Provide depth during the regular season

82 games is a lot of games.

The NBA has yet to make any major changes to this grueling schedule and as a result, you can rest assured the Golden State Warriors, just like every other powerhouse, will be resting their stars throughout the season.

On the nights when Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are either getting rest or taking it easy — the young core should be eager to step up and seize the moment.

Jonathan Kuminga, James Wiseman, Moses Moody Jordan Poole and Patrick Baldwin have a real chance to be energy guys who can be relied on occasionally during a long season. Meeting this goal isn’t something they should just strive for, it’s something they absolutely must do if the Warriors want to compete year-round.
