Why Warriors should be title favorites: The Big 3

The Golden State Warriors may get bigger contributions from players that will gain experience at the NBA level next season, but what’s going to be the most meaningful thing in the postseason will be the experience that their rotation has.

Head coach Steve Kerr has typically gone to an eight-man rotation.  Golden State will certainly have that experience as the Big 3 have proven to be virtually unbeatable at full strength and all will be back for the 2022-2023 season.

With Klay Thompson having terrific close-out games and Draymond Green perfectly setting up teammates, the sky is the limit when all three are on the court.

Having Stephen Curry never hurts either. The two-time MVP put the Dubs on his back last season, going ballistic in the Warriors’ six NBA Finals games, averaging 31.2 points per game to go with 5.2 threes per game.

Eventually, the Warriors are going to run into a problem with keeping all three and also paying players like Kuminga, Poole and Wiseman. For now, that problem isn’t a big issue, and the Dubs can run it back with their roster almost exactly as it was.
