Kyrie Irving to Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James has a way of getting the teammates he wants.

Most of the time, at least.

James has helped swing some of the craziest trades and free agency decisions in league history. The Los Angeles Lakers are constantly looking to meet the King’s demands.

His greatest wish at the moment? Kyrie Irving.

A reunion between two superstars who compliment each other to perfection is enough for every team in the NBA to be fearful. While Irving’s reputation has been in a tailspin since drilling the infamous Game 7 shot, teaming up with his former partner could bring stability back to his career.

The only thing holding this back is the Lakers’ lack of assets. There isn’t much they can offer for Kyrie.

On the other hand, Irving has no problem sitting out until he gets what he wants. No other team would take a risk trading for Kyrie if he’s made his intentions clear — and the Nets know fully well that Kyrie doesn’t mind missing games.

Does Irving want to join LA? That is the only question that needs to be answered.
