Kevin Durant to Boston Celtics

The drama never ends.

Kevin Durant might not be traded this season unless all hell breaks loose — which it very well might.

Either way, KD is a prime target for the Boston Celtics, who are in a position to be title contenders for the foreseeable future.

Adding Durant doesn’t just increase their chances of winning a championship, it puts them over the top.

The Celtics were a consistent go-to scorer away from beating the Dubs last season. Toss in a prolific, world-beating offensive threat like KD to go along with a growing Jayson Tatum and a ton of depth — it’s hard to see this team losing.

The grand question is, when will this trade happen? Is KD going to lean into being the villain and force his way out of a franchise? Or will he contently spend the next few years in turmoil with the Nets?

The Warriors hope it will be the latter.
