The NBA Champion Golden State Warriors are going to run into a problem in the next few seasons, and with a trade, they could alleviate that potential issue and improve their title hopes for this coming year.

The Dubs are going to be an interesting situation when the year ends, mainly due to the combination of contracts they’ll need to hand out. Andrew Wiggins and 23-year-old Jordan Poole will both be free agents.

The Warriors are coming off an NBA Championship, and while it may not be in their plans, wheeling and dealing throughout the upcoming season makes sense.

The most likely scenario is that Wiggins gets awarded a long-term deal while Poole, who would be a restricted free agent, finds a new organization. They could opt to keep Poole, but Wiggins is the more unique skill set despite the young guard’s rapid growth.

On top of figuring out what to do with those two, they’ll want to eventually make space to keep Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman. They’ll lose out on one of the two (assuming Wiseman has a successful season) if they give Draymond Green a lofty extension.

A trade to allow for some of that contract pressure to be alleviated for a veteran on a team-friendly deal could make sense. With that in mind, here are the three players most likely to be dealt throughout the upcoming season.
