How Stephen Curry can improve for Warriors: Return to 40% club

Stephen Curry has almost nothing to improve upon, and it gets to the point where looking at his body of work and thinking of something more to bring to the table is almost insulting for what he’s done in Golden State.

Now, Curry did watch his three-point shooting suffer this past season as he had many slumps throughout the year. Curry, for the first time in his career, didn’t shoot over 40% from deep. That should be his challenge for this upcoming season.

It was also the third season in his career in which he hoisted over 11.5 attempts from deep, so the volume shooting is certainly there.

He just needs to be more efficient, and when the only thing you really find is shooting 40% from deep, you know he’s truly among the best players in the NBA. The 34-year-old guard finished with the 8th-highest MVP award share.

He was incredible this past season, and Curry should still be in the back half of his prime this upcoming season.
