1. Ben McLemore

Arguably the best free agent still on the market, Ben McLemore would fill an infamous role for the Golden State Warriors.

Just as we saw Otto Porter emerge as a veteran 3-and-D role player who wound up having a major impact on the Dubs’ championship run — McLemore can do the same.

McLemore is not as versatile as Porter, standing five inches shorter. But due to his athleticism and lanky arms, McLemore has developed into a reliable backcourt defender in the NBA.

He can also shoot the ball, connecting on 36.2% of his 3-point attempts last season.

McLemore fits nicely into a second unit role with the Warriors. He might not play minutes over the likes of Jordan Poole and Donte DiVincenzo but would add depth to a rotation that could always use some extra insurance.
