Jordan Poole

The Golden State Warriors are hopeful they’ll be able to keep Jordan Poole for the future. While Poole likely wishes the same thing — he also wants to get paid.

It’s no secret Poole will be hoping for as much money as possible once his contract extension is officially negotiated. If earning the max is his goal, Poole will need to have the best season of his career.

He’s become an integral member of the team. The Dubs count on him to lead the second unit and occasionally pull them out of a hole when the offense is stagnant.

Yet, Poole will need to be more than a microwave scorer in order to warrant max dollars.

A consistent season of defense and playmaking will go a long way in helping Poole secure the contract he wants. If not now, possibly in the future when his next deal is up.

But it all starts here. Poole can’t afford to regress at a time like this.
