Expected Starters

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney

Fairly straightforward to predict the starting five on opening night barring a significant injury. These players were the starters for most of the playoffs when they were all healthy and all performed well together.

Steph’s expected to have the scoring load in this lineup but Klay and Wiggins will provide plenty of scoring to take the load off him.

Draymond is the defensive leader of the group, but everyone in this lineup can defend, and switch which is most important to the Warriors’ defensive scheme.

The Warriors’ defense finished 2nd in the league and Draymond was a defensive player of the year frontrunner before his brutal back injury. Another strong defensive season for him and consequently the team and he will be in play to win only his second DPOY award.
