Andrew Wiggins, repeat All-Star?

Wiggins fresh off his first all-star selection, NBA title, and contract extension has got the season started with a bang.

He’s scored above 20 points in every single game while playing some of the elite defense that we’ve been accustomed to. It’s not just that he’s scoring and putting up consistent points on the board, it’s the efficiency with which he’s doing it.

He’s shooting 52% from the field and 38% from 3. He’s also averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game and 1.3 blocks per game.

Wiggins has stated that he wants to go for an all-defensive team this season, and while he might not get it, there’s no doubt that he won’t be amongst the contenders for it.

Far more likely however at this point in time is him getting an all-star appearance again. If this offense continues to keep up, both the Dubs’ offense will be propelled and his stature amongst the leagues best will continue to climb. Long season ahead but he’s on the right path.
