Golden State Warriors acquire versatile big man from the Orlando Magic.

The Orlando Magic have plenty of exciting young talent on their roster, but they’re still in the process of re-building with a 4-11 record through 15 games this season. After selecting Paolo Banchero with the number one overall pick this year, the Magic will again be looking towards another high selection.

Wiseman and Kuminga would add to their growing list of young prospects — while they’d receive greater opportunity in the Magic system, the franchise wouldn’t necessarily be reliant on them to become genuine All-Stars — more it’d be a bonus given their range of high-level talent already.

Here’s how a deal may look:

For the Warriors, Carter Jr. would give them a nice addition to the frontcourt rotation. His versatility on both ends of the floor would allow him to play minutes alongside Draymond Green or Kevon Looney.

The 23-year-old is averaging a career-high 16.3 points to go with 9.1 rebounds, shooting 51% from the floor and 37% from three-point range. Okeke wouldn’t necessarily become a part of the Warriors playoff rotation, but he’s an intriguing prospect that’s worth a look at.

This is also a somewhat ironic trade proposal given there was discussion around a potential deal for Carter ahead of the 2020 NBA draft. He was with the Chicago Bulls at that time, and there were rumours they may have been interested in moving up to the Warriors second overall pick by using Carter and their first-round pick.
