4. Draymond Green

For as polarizing of a player as Draymond Green has become over the past few years of his career, there’s no question that he’s still an incredibly valuable player to the Golden State Warriors. And you’d have to imagine that will continue to be the case as long as he is on the team. But that’s one of the most intriguing and biggest questions that the Warriors must answer this offseason.

Draymond has a player option for next season and you’d have to imagine that he’s going to decline that to sign a long-term deal this offseason. The Warriors have said all the right things but there’s no guarantee that Draymond will be on the team next season. Interestingly, Draymond’s trade value is likely at a point right now where it’s only going to decrease with every passing year.

If the Warriors wanted to trade Draymond, this would be the offseason to do so. But because he’s essentially going to be a sign-and-trade candidate this offseason, his trade value isn’t going to be through the roof. Still, the Warriors should be able to get a positive asset in exchange for Draymond via trade if they went down that road.
