4. Draymond Green

Draymond Green’s contract includes a $27.6 million player option for next season. While he is yet to make his official decision, all indications are that the Warriors and Green are working on a multi-year deal that would keep the future Hall of Famer in the Bay long-term.

The 33-year-old showed little-to-no signs of decline, named to his eighth All-Defensive second team in 11 years while maintaining his status as one of the best defenders in the world. An injury-riddled season left the Warriors devoid of continuity, but Green played in all but nine regular season games, bringing the same intensity night in and night out.

He anchored the Warriors’ defense, oftentimes having to cover for his teammate’s lapses on the perimeter. On the other side, he and Stephen Curry powered the league’s eighth-best offense, and their two-man game continues to be an unsolvable puzzle for opposing defenses.

The former Defensive Player of the Year will be seeking a lucrative multi-year extension that will run into his late 30s, and Green will have to back up the dollar signs with his productivity, even as he enters his 12th season.
