The NBA rumor mill is fully revved up, with everyone from Shams Charania to beat reporters and everyone in between rolling out the latest juicy intel. On Wednesday the news broke that Bradley Beal will work with the Washington Wizards on a trade if the franchise finally decide to tear things down and embrace a rebuild.

Beal is a name that has surfaced before in regard to the Warriors trying to maximize their championship window around Stephen Curry. With Klay Thompson something of a full-time forward now, fitting Beal into the starting lineup is more natural. Is there a connection to be made?

Is Bradley Beal to the Warriors a possibility?

The Warriors certainly aren’t beholden to searching for a big-name star in the trade market, and they may decide to run it back with the group they have and make tweaks around the edges. None of their players, including Jordan Poole, are “actively being shopped” on the trade market. After a disappointing end to the season, however, and with the clock ticking on Curry’s prime, there is urgency to make a move.

Would Bradley Beal be a move they consider? And, just as importantly, would Beal want to come to the Warriors; with the league’s only no-trade clause heading into the summer, he can veto any deal. Let’s see just what kind of a trade the two teams could build, and whether both parties would say yes.
