1. Bring back Draymond

The Warriors could not bring back Draymond Green and Jordan Poole next season. Not after all that has happened in the last year. Poole is now in Washington and replaced by Chris Paul, but can the Dubs iron out a new contract for Green? He declined his $27.5 million player option and will become an unrestricted free agent on June 30.

The Warriors have his Bird rights, so they can re-sign him this summer. Golden State is not going to give him a max contract, though. With real tax implications present, the two sides must compromise. Green wants to return, and the Dubs know how much they need the 6’6 forward. All that is left is agreeing on a new number.

Draymond is 33 years old, so the dollars and years offered will be worth watching. The Golden State Warriors could try to line his contract up with Stephen Curry’s and give themselves a three-year window to compete for championships.

Can the Golden State Warriors bring back Draymond Green and find a way to get their finances in order this offseason? What moves do they make to cut their tax bill? Can they find more talent that is willing come on a minimum deal in free agency? Stay tuned to find out.
