4 Things Warriors must immediately do the minute free agency begins

3. Round out the bench
The Warriors only have nine players under contract. Bringing back Draymond Green makes ten, but the Dubs must add at least four more players before training camp. They are all-in on title contention, so the front office will be searching for pieces to complete their roster.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Kevon Looney figure to be the opening night starting five with Chris Paul as the team’s sixth man. Moses Moody will be in the rotation and joined by Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II if they are still on the roster. It is a strong top eight with rookie Brandon Podziemski completing the nine under contract.
The Warriors need a backup big man and veteran role players. Can they convince those pieces to come to San Francisco on below-market value deals? Bringing back JaMychal Green is an option, but that alone is not enough.
They would ideally add two players that are part of the nightly rotation, but Golden State will have to do it on minimum contracts. That won’t be easy, but veterans may be excited to try to chase a championship in the Bay Area. Who could the Golden State Warriors target?
