Free Agent No. 2: Bismack Biyombo, Center

Chris Paul butters his bread by running the pick-and-roll, and there aren’t a ton of options on the Warriors as currently constructed. While Jonathan Kuminga is a hyper-athletic option, he does not have the same rumbling-down-the-lane fear just based on his size.

Thankfully, adding a player to fit that mold is relatively easy, and in fact, one who may be available for a veteran’s minimum deal is reassuring. Paul has past chemistry with Biyombo and the Congolese center could be a low-cost option to fill that space.

Free Agent No. 1: Josh Okogie, Wing

Josh Okogie came into the league as something of a defensive specialist and now is trying to establish his offensive career. He caught on with the Suns last year and played really well. That could parlay him into better offers, but it’s also very possible no one makes that move.

If available on the minimum, Okogie checks a lot of boxes. He would be the backup to Moses Moody and perhaps even play alongside him. He leads the list of former Chris Paul teammates who could be back for more.
